Non-birth child - Release Notes

Version 1.0 – August 2, 2026

Initial public release of Non-birth child filter rule for Gramps.

Included

Lists people recorded as adopted, foster, step, sponsored or another non-birth child type. It supports both all non-birth types and individual relationship selections.

Tested on

• Gramps 6.0.8 on Windows 11
• Gramps 6.0.8 on Zorin OS 18.1 Core

macOS has not been tested.

Version 1.1 – August 3, 2026

• Gramps 5.2 or later. The rule file now works on both (the rule method was renamed between the two major versions, and this addon defines both names).
