Family Tree Calendar 1.0 is now available
Family Tree Calendar is now available as a small Python tool for Gramps' Web Calendar report.
Instead of rebuilding a full web family tree just to update a calendar, the tool reads the twelve monthly pages from Gramps' lightweight Web Calendar report and rewrites them as a clean, mobile-friendly calendar.
Version 1.0 includes month navigation, a two-year switcher, living birthdays, expandable historical events, a self-updating
index_kalender.html
, built-in English and Danish calendar text, and support for additional JSON language packs.
The tool requires Gramps 5.2 or later and Python 3.6 or newer, with no third-party Python packages.
FilterWorkbench 2.0 is now available
FilterWorkbench (Danish: Filterværksted ) has been updated to version 2.0.
The main addition is Export to / Remove from Gramps' Filter Editor . A finished FilterWorkbench filter and the helper filters it needs can now be copied deliberately into Gramps’ own custom filter list and removed again without overwriting existing filters. Shared helpers are reused.
Version 2.0 also adds tidier deletion of unused helper filters, a reworked sidebar with nested helper filters and quick filtering, and a built-in Guide button. FilterWorkbench refuses to modify custom_filters.xml while Gramps’ own Filter Editor is open.
FilterWorkbench supports Gramps 5.1, 5.2 and 6.0.x and includes a Danish interface and Danish built-in guide.
Gramps Graph View Profiles for Gramps is now available
Gramps Graph View Profiles for Gramps 6.0 is now publicly available.
The extension adds reusable Standard and View profiles, startup control for each family tree, temporary profile use, ProfileTag filtering, and additional validation when profiles are loaded.
Version 1.0 includes source code, installation files, documentation, release notes, and an optional Danish translation.
